It is not with the lyre of someone in love that I go seducing people. The rattle of the leper is what sings in my hands. Jane Kenyon

MOON OF MY HEART

after my own shadow,
I catch it only when the moon
of my heart eclipses
the sum of my minds..." Posted by Picasa

This is dedicated to the Kluang bloggers.....and if you notice 'sum' is not mis-spelt, this line is an adaptation of a haiku I wrote about Parkinsons Disease, will post it some day, meanwhile I hope you enjoy my wax and water colour painting...collage!

Second : Your shadow is very very near; just next to darkness.

Beautiful. Well done. The only problem is, how do we do it?:)

Life is like chasing after our own shadows, we will never catch them...until we use our courage (moon of our hearts) to eclipse the sum (sun) of our fears (mind).......:) !!!

You expressed this beautifully.

Borut said...

Thanks, I was afraid it had something to do with courage.:)

beautiful words (not so easy to follow your advice :)), and i love the artwork!

Yes, I know...but it must not stop us from striving...and to strive again when we repeatedly fail...for there is always more beyond if we stretch the sinews of the heart a little tighter....:(

Surreal poem. Lovely nuances...like the image of the plurality of the minds...reminds me of a novel by Stephen King's Gunslinger series when he wrote of other worlds and many suns. Thanks for sharing..

Dear Plus Ultra, again a great peace of work. Both the art and the poem. I interpreted it differently when I read it, moon of my heart being moods, melancholy and sum of my minds being various confusing states of mind. Thanks for the explantions, also waiting for your haiku about parkinsons
